Retesting 200kg After Two Years & First 100kg Bench

In December 2025 I retested my deadlift after two years and pulled 200kg again. Around the same time I benched 100kg for the first time ever, and built it up to a level where I can repeat it every training session.

Hitting 200kg again felt like closing a loop: same number as in late 2023, but with a lot of other training (BJJ, climbing, life) in between. The squat and bench have both inched up—145kg squat and 100kg bench are now in the books—and bench in particular went from a one-off max to something I can hit consistently in training.

For now I’m shifting focus more to other things: BJJ, climbing, and general fitness rather than chasing new lifting numbers. The big three are at a level I’m happy with; maintaining and repeating these numbers is enough while I put more energy elsewhere.
